Do you need some gear for your next adventure? EPIC Adventures offers rentals of a variety of outdoor adventure equipment to students, faculty, staff, and community members at affordable prices. Rent everything you need for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, camping, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, and more. 

The EPIC Equipment Room is open for students, faculty, staff, and community members to rent outdoor gear Tuesday - Friday, between 1:00PM - 3:00PM . To make your reservation, stop by the equipment room or reserve your equipment online. When you fill out the online rental request form, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you about the equipment’s availability and pick-up procedures. Payment can be made online, or in the form of cash or a check made out to Houghton University.

- Tax is required for all equipment rentals.
- Late fees will be charged for gear returned after the original due date.
- Damaged equipment: additional fees may apply if the equipment is returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
- Lost equipment: the renter is responsible for the replacement of any equipment rented under this agreement that is not returned.
- Cash or check payments (made out to Houghton University) can be brought to EPIC Equipment Room with pick-up
- Reimbursements will be determined on a case-by-case basis if the gear is proven faulty.
- Students, faculty, staff, and community members who have reserved gear must also be present at the time of pickup.

Houghton University (HU) pricing applies to students, faculty, and staff. 

Weekend pricing refers to a 3-day rental and could apply to rentals during the week.
